The challenge

Building a school or college timetable by hand takes weeks and still produces clashes: teacher conflicts, room double-bookings, and constraints that are impossible to satisfy manually across hundreds of classes, subjects and venues.

Our approach

• Modeled scheduling as a constraint-satisfaction problem across teachers, subjects, classes and venues
• Built a guided Excel-import wizard (upload → map columns → review) with a downloadable template, so institutions onboard their existing data in minutes
• Engineered an algorithm that generates an optimized, conflict-free timetable in seconds while respecting every constraint
• Added flexible exports (class-wise, teacher-wise, venue-wise, free slots, free teachers and a master timetable) to Excel and PDF

The solution

Da1Timetable turns weeks of manual scheduling into a few minutes of setup. Administrators import their data from Excel, configure constraints once, and the engine generates an optimized, conflict-free schedule in seconds, with a live progress view as it finalizes structure, validates constraints and resolves clashes. Finished timetables export in multiple views to Excel or PDF for sharing across the institution.
