An immersive VR resort experience — the Da1 Hotel & Resort Zanzibar — where an AI concierge guides guests through villas, suites, dining, spa and glamping, and they explore it all in first person, activities included.
The challenge
Guests booking a premium resort cannot experience it beforehand. Photos and floor plans under-sell the space, the amenities and the feeling of being there — and generic booking sites give no personalized guidance for how a couple, a family or a business traveler should actually stay.
Our approach
- Built a fully explorable VR resort — arrival grounds, villas and suites, living spaces, kitchen, balcony, spa, family zone and luxury glamping domes
- Added an AI concierge avatar ("Ayla") that welcomes guests, learns their stay style and dates, and gives a personalized, step-by-step tour
- Designed panel-based navigation so guests teleport between rooms, viewpoints and amenities effortlessly
- Included interactive resort activities — archery, boating and more — so guests experience the lifestyle, not just the rooms
The solution
Da1Resort lets guests visit before they book. An AI concierge greets them, asks whether they are traveling as a couple, family or for business, and guides them through the resort model — then they step inside and explore villas, suites, dining, spa and glamping in immersive first-person VR, even trying activities like archery and boating. It turns a booking decision into an experience, and connects directly out of the DaMeta1 Expo hall.
