The questions US buyers actually ask
Straight answers on IP ownership, communication, security, contracts and cost. If yours isn’t here, book a call and ask directly.
Will I own the code and IP?
Yes. Every engagement includes full intellectual-property assignment. On payment for each milestone, all source code, designs and documentation transfer to you. Contracts are governed by US law.
Are you a US company?
Yes — DaV1 Tech is a US-registered company with a US point of contact. We work in daily overlap with US business hours and communicate in English, first language, with no offshore communication gap.
How do you handle time zones and communication?
We schedule real working-hours overlap with your team across ET, CT and PT, hold regular sprint demos, and give you a single accountable point of contact. You always know who to call.
How do you protect my data and IP?
We sign NDAs before detailed disclosure, and our delivery follows a secure SDLC with least-privilege access, encryption, audit logging and cloud security aligned to SOC 2, GDPR/CCPA and, for healthcare, HIPAA principles.
What contract terms do you work under?
US-law Master Services Agreements and Statements of Work, with defined scope, acceptance criteria, change control, milestone payments and mutual NDAs.
How much does a project cost?
It depends on scope and engagement model. We offer fixed-bid projects, dedicated teams and time-and-materials. Most clients start with a short, fixed-fee Discovery Sprint that produces a costed plan before any large commitment.
How quickly can you start?
A Discovery Sprint can usually begin within one to two weeks. Full build teams are typically stood up within two to four weeks of an agreed plan.
What if my requirements change mid-project?
Change is expected. Fixed-bid work uses a lightweight change-control process; dedicated-team and time-and-materials engagements let you re-prioritize the roadmap every sprint.
Have a product opportunity, an AI challenge or a technology gap?
Tell us what you are trying to build, improve or automate. You will talk to a senior product person during US business hours — not a sales script.
